Tom Oriel: McCrory’s ‘protection’
If Gov. Pat McCrory is so concerned about the residents of North Carolina with the incoming refugees from Syria, why isn’t he concerned about background checks at gun shows, which would prevent terrorists from buying guns?
If he is so concerned about N.C. residents, why doesn’t he implement Medicaid for 500,000 residents, reducing insurance premiums for those getting increases in their rates?
If he is so concerned about N.C. residents, why did he sign the pollution exemption bill, and why did he sign the fracking bill that could affect the health of residents?
If he is so concerned about the residents of North Carolina, why has he signed bills attacking women’s health?
