Debbie Harmon: Protesters need to get real

Regarding the Nov. 20 news article “Protest disrupts meeting at UNC”: I was left dumbfounded by the “demonstrators” who disrupted the town hall meeting at UNC.

That should not have been allowed, but I think the people in charge of the meeting were afraid to move them out and put a stop to the “list of demands” for fear of being “racial.”

Yes, there is always room for improvement and changes, but if they do not like things at a certain university, go somewhere else.
