June Thames: Trivial matters

Regarding the Nov. 11 column “The Christmas tempest in a Starbucks cup”: Who would believe it? Starbucks changes the color of its cups and rates half a page in the Old Reliable and a group, Faith Driven Consumer, calls for a boycott.

With the slaughter in France, along with people here in our community homeless, foodless and, yes, unable to afford a cup of Starbucks coffee, we are concerned about the color of its cups?

Some people need to get a life. This is so ridiculous that it’s difficult to know whether to laugh or cry.
