Robert Huddleston: Soft words may work
Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank was at his snarky best when he labeled President Obama as “President Oh-bummer” in his Nov. 28 column. Our thoughtful Commander in Chief was simply following President Theodore Roosevelt’s considered advice to “speak softly and carry a big stick: you will go far.” And, I might add, soft words today might avoid an Iraq-like debacle.
