Thomas Kline: Lifeless Dems

Regarding the Dec. 8 Barry Saunders column “Gov. Pat, don’t you love us anymore?”: Attacking the First Amendment with the First Amendment!

Our state government is behaving like buffoons. Our elected officials are ineffective, inept and nontransparent.

We need to revive the lifeless Democratic Party or any other party that can oppose the current ultra-conservative party in the next election.

Let’s start with a new bumper sticker: “Defeat the Raleigh governor.”
