Pat Kenny: Taxing wealthy no fix

The Dec. 14 editorial “The shrinking middle class” spoke the truth about a real problem.

Unfortunately, in the last two paragraphs you implied rather forcefully that the solution to the problem was to raise taxes on the wealthy.

I fail to see how raising taxes on the wealthy is going to raise income levels for the middle class.

The shrinking of the middle class will be solved by a vibrant economy, and that will not happen by raising taxes on the wealthy.
