Robert Grove: Relative holiday advice

At a recent Christmas party, the topic came up of how to best respond when politics come up as we visit with relatives over the holidays.

A good friend suggested simply saying, “I choose to not give into fear and hatred.”

Given the popularity of one divisive presidential candidate, I consider that sage advice.
