Assad Meymandi: Well-descibed account

I am writing not to celebrate NC’s latest Nobel Laureates Drs. Aziz Sancar and Paul Modrich (the Dec. 27 Tar Heels of the Year feature) but to congratulate Martha Quillin for her excellent coverage of the story. Her precise writing, Maazelian precision and descriptive accuracy of complex biochemical and genetic topics made me wonder if she has had training in biochemistry and genetics. Brava Martha! Her story deserves a Pulitzer.
