Nanette de Andrade: Clinton hasn’t won
In the Dec. 29 opinion piece by Doyle McManus “Obama’s legacy,” the accompanying picture of President Obama with Hillary Clinton says, “President Obama needs Hillary Clinton to succeed him.” The column, however, does not mention Clinton. It talks only about needing a Democrat to carry on his legacy. This cutline will likely be many people’s summary of the article, but Clinton is not the chosen Democratic candidate yet. She is running for that privilege against two other fine people, including Sen. Bernie Sanders, who polls to win over every Republican contender in the race!
Please stop ignoring the democratic process and give the people a chance to speak.
Rev. Nanette de Andrade
