Bob Russo: Climate qualifiers
Regarding the Jan. 3 editorial “The weather vane points to trouble”: Boy, who could have see that one coming? We can’t even enjoy a couple of warm winter weeks without being lectured about how life as we know it is coming to an end.
Of course, the usual qualifiers are included: might feel, may be in store, may explain, it’s possible. And that doom and gloom weather forecaster who warned that if this pattern applies to the summer, we could see 115 degrees in July? Yeah, right. And if I can only get a little more range on my jumper, I’ll be the next Stephen Curry.
