Charlotte T. Best: The state of guns

I guess that the State of Virginia will just have to make do since the writer of the Dec. 24 letter “Virginia not for gun-lovers” will no longer visit. The writer declares that Virginia’s decision (legal concerns) not to honor concealed handgun permits from other states is inconvenient and has resulted in his driving world becoming “smaller.” From now on he will spend his money in states that welcome those passing through who are toting, loaded and ready to take down the “bad guys.”

To me the only shrinkage in this situation tends to cerebral, and I hope other states, no matter the motive, will join Virginia in curbing the flow of guns from state to state.
