Wallace Ward: Puck privilege

I have lived in the Raleigh area for a little over a year now. I moved from the Northeast but was raised down South. I acquired a love of the game of hockey while living up North and have been more than disappointed with the turn out at the PNC Arena for Hurricane home games. My question to the people of Raleigh is this: Do you not know what a privilege it is to have a true professional (big league NHL) team in this city? You all should be filling that arena up nightly with at least 10,000 to 15,000! I understand it is not a traditional sport for the South, but it is fast moving and hard hitting and fun. Check it out, and the price is pretty darn good, too. I paid more then double up North for the same awesome seats I got the other night as I watched my team lose to the Canes.

It is a real shame not to support and go visit this organization. I would hate to lose a professional sports team because of apathy or ignorance.
