Florian Howaniec: Not-so-good times

We keep hearing and reading how good things are since President Obama took office.

The Jan. 8 news article “Numbers show recession’s impact on the Triangle” showed otherwise.

From 2010 to 2014, incomes mostly declined while poverty rates increased in the Triangle. Incomes dropped and poverty rates rose, even in the affluent counties.

This article should have been on the front page, above the fold, instead of buried beneath an article on a stolen pig cooker.
