Mary Ellen Decker: Teachers’ flight plight

Regarding the Feb. 19 news article “ ‘Brand’ plate may fall short”: I think the idea for incorporating the “Nothing Compares” brand on North Carolina license plates is perfect, especially when I compare teaching salaries with other states. We’re not even close.

I’d like to propose another brand for North Carolina: “First in Teacher Flight!”
