Regarding the Feb. 28 news article “New UNC boss likes controlling the mic”: How is it possible that someone with a B.A. in political science and a honorary doctoral degree who ran a “laptop university” can be able to guide one of the leading university systems in the country?
Ideology of kindred spirits is the only motivation for this appointment.
From the reports in your paper, it is evident a prevalent sentiment is spreading to our institutions of higher learning where targeted education and ideological doctrines that isolate diversity of thinking are being promoted quietly.
Are the neo-Nazis experiencing a revival? Will we have public bonfires of diverging literature and other books that do not conform with the views of those trying to take control of the country?
Bear in mind that the investment of a few affluent residents is giving them control of politicians and ultimately the ability to steer the country in their direction. The common resident pays his taxes, which go to general tax coffers. This money can then be directed for the benefit of the large PAC contributors. There is a return on investment to every contribution.
