Kelsey Arrufat: Twiddy deserves privacy
I am writing to complain about the March 6 news article “Officer D.C. Twiddy’s beat one of drugs and traffic stops.” The article went into an inappropriate amount of detail about Twiddy’s home life and past, revealing where he worships and works out, as well as his salary.
I am unsure of the point of this article other than to help those who may wish to cause harm to Twiddy and his family and give them a means of which to find them.
Regardless of the outcome of the investigation, Twiddy has the right to keep his personal life and family private in the hopes of keeping his family and friends safe from those still angry about the situation.
This article serves no purpose whatsoever. I can only hope that it isn’t placed in the wrong hands and used for harm.
My heart goes out to all of those affected by the situation, and I sincerely hope that they can all find peace soon enough.
