Rebecca Brady: Expensive ‘protection’

Regarding the March 22 news article “Vote to void LGBT ordinance expected”: If our Republican legislators want to to spend $42,000 a day to “protect women and children,” I’d suggest they pass some common-sense gun laws.

How many women and children have been killed by a transgender person using the restroom? How many have been killed by an angry man with a gun?
