Fred Howes: Trump defined
I am a Democrat who loves the writing of conservative David Brooks. In his March 19 column “No, not Trump, not ever,” he told those who may listen that Donald Trump should not ever become president.
Brooks even quotes the psalmist David in Psalm 73 to be aware of someone like Trump. Pride, malice, arrogance.
I realize that Trump is feeding off residents who are unemployed and hurting in our current economy, but he has nothing to offer them except his egotism, narcissism, dishonesty, demagoguery and boasting, and he has presented no plan to improve the job situation. His speeches are hollow, and they invite rude behavior by some who, like Trump, allow no other point of view.
Hats off to Brooks for his clarity in really defining Trump.
