W. Richard Cobb: Build transgender restrooms
Lily Carollo, in her March 19 Point of View, “McCrory, Moore and me,” assured me there is “no safety problem” (opportunity for nefarious ends) when sharing a bathroom with someone of intersex ambiguity/gender identity.
What about “privacy and extreme discomfort?” Transgenders, a very small group, in effect, are transferring their privacy and comfort level to use a biologically designated male or female restroom onto everyone else so they can feel right? No!
Construct single transgender restrooms in public and government buildings for the few that need it.
