Betty Buller Whitehead: Law all about white, male privilege

Since when have heterosexual men needed a ruse, like putting on a dress to go in a women’s room, in order to violently abuse, rape or batter women? But Republicans aren’t interested, and never have been, in facts. They appeal to fear.

And what they really fear is the loss of straight, white male privilege and power to control everything. They don’t like and don’t want equality. That’s really the focus of this battle.

This is the same crowd that doesn’t believe women are capable of making their own reproductive choices; now they claim women aren’t capable of protecting themselves in restrooms. Talk about demeaning!

Any woman who is planning to vote for a Republican in November really ought to have her head examined.
