Jonathan Agronsky: Terrorists have own agenda

In a March 28 column “Islamophobia is only helping ISIS,” Arun Kundnani instructed us that it is not their religious beliefs that turn Muslims into terrorists, it is their hatred of our “selfish” Western values and our indiscriminate killing of Muslim civilians when we bomb the terrorists (who cynically hide among civilians).

I have a proposal for Kundnani: We (the West) will stop bombing the terrorists and accidentally killing Muslim civilians the moment they (the Muslim terrorists) stop purposely killing civilians – in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States. Then the whole world will be able to breathe easy again.

Hint: If Kundnani wants to continue living, he shouldn’t hold his breath waiting for that to happen.

The Muslim terrorists, whatever they do or do not believe, will not stop their butchering of innocents until they have restored the Caliphate, or whatever part of it they believe should predominate in their part of the world. It is as sad and as simple as that, I’m afraid.
