Amelia Casey: Sketchy SolarBees details

There have been several thoughtful comments and discussions regarding the April 13 Focus article “Report critical of SolarBees goes online, then disappears.”

Apparently, the General Assembly voted for the installation of these devices in spite of the expressed disapproval of knowledgeable scientists.

As this is a very important, expensive and controversial matter, it should be put to rest by having these public servants publicly release the details of their research that led them to disregard scientific advice. They also should release the rationale in awarding and extending this no-bid contract.
