Steve Clark: Liberal oversights
Regarding the April 9 news article “Bruce Springsteen cancels Greensboro show over HB 2”: Liberals are obviously big believers in collective punishment. First PayPal cancels plans to add 400 jobs in Charlotte, and now Bruce Springsteen abruptly cancels a concert in Greensboro.
Are the unemployed people who need a job or the thousands of disappointed fans responsible for HB2? PayPal should add the jobs and hire some transgender people. The Boss should use concert proceeds to fund reassignment surgery for transgender people who can’t afford it. Oh, wait, that would be actually helping people. Can’t have that.
