Gil Boylston: Moms, sons, bathrooms
Regarding House Bill 2 and the provision that requires one to use the bathroom of the sex indicated on one’s birth certificate: I guess this means that it’s now illegal for moms to take young boys into the ladies’ bathroom to use the bathroom.
Will both the mom and the child be cited for violating the law? It seems that they should be. And since violations of this kind are probably more easily identifiable than others, we should begin to see some arrests, I would think.
