DeVan Barbour IV: McCrory must stand strong

Regarding the May 10 news article “Federal, N.C. leaders take battle over HB2 to court”: Thanks go to Gov. Pat McCrory for standing up for common sense and North Carolina values.

Over the past eight years, President Obama has used his Justice Department to re-interpret longstanding federal law and to intimidate states into complying with a liberal agenda.

I am so glad that McCrory and others are standing up for common sense and basic concepts of privacy.

I hope McCrory, the legislature and other leaders in North Carolina stand firm against an out-of-control federal government.
