Lynnette Zueck: Unsafe trucks

Regarding the May 31 news article “Truck in fatal crash had safety violations”: I see this every day: no brake light, loads in backs of trucks not secured and items flying all over the road, pull-behind trailers with no brake lights flying all over the road and not properly hitched to back of tow vehicle.

I can’t believe these crashes don’t happen every day. How do the violators pass the vehicle inspections? What are people thinking when they drive down the road like this? Just awful.

I wish there were a number I could call to report violations, because I sure would.
