Regarding the May 31 news article “Without a home, Devon Davis tries to find his way”: Devon Davis’ story points out not only the cruel and senseless solitary confinement system, but also the absurdity of the way prisoners are released.

No job, no GED, no home, no Social Security – and was it $35 he was given?

While doing some prison reform, we need to set some standard rules governing prisoner release.
