Karen Schellhorn: Those Medicaid dollars

Regarding Ned Barnett’s May 29 column “A caring doctor’s orders: Expand Medicaid”: I wonder if members of the N.C. General Assembly, in refusing to accept federal Medicaid dollars, have considered that we have already paid to expand Medicaid here through our federal tax dollars. Our state’s government is withholding what our residents are already paying for.
