Larry Cook: Mateen a Muslim monster

In regard to Salahuddin Muhammad’s comments in the June 21 news article “Moral Monday mixes mourning, politics”: I am appalled at the blindness of his comments. He said Omar Mateen “was a monster not a Muslim.” No, he was a radicalized Islamic extremist terrorist who killed innocent people, and he was a monster.

Enough of the political correctness that has been a part of the reason our country is falling apart. If Muslims want to be a part of the solution then they need to start turning these radicalized Islamic extremists into the authorities so they can be prosecuted.
