Paul Staley: A wind farm ruse
Regarding the June 24 news article “Wind farms are feeling blowback”: Preservation of military airspace for national security is a convenient and disingenuous excuse to limit development of wind energy in North Carolina.
It’s more like preserve the skyline so coastal property owners don’t have to look at ugly windmills.
If the legislature were truly interested in national security, it would encourage and promote programs to move away from fossil fuels.
