Carol Alverson: Money-grubbing NRA shills
OK, that is it! I am finished trying to reason with NRA supporters. The truth of the matter is that they are being sold a bill of goods dressed up as patriotism.
All of the members of the House and Senate who decry gun control are nothing but a bunch of common opportunists grabbing for as much PAC money as they can get, just to stay in office. They know that gun regulation is not an agenda to take the guns from the hands of Americans.
They know that while we are busy slaughtering each other as if we are a poor Third World nation, they are busy laughing all the way to the bank.
Anti-gun regulation members of Congress and the NRA are merely filling their pockets with money while conning the American public that it is all in the name of the Second Amendment.
They do not care about the Second Amendment. They care about money and becoming more wealthy while we become more and more afraid to gather in groups.
If we truly believe in America, then stand up for our right to be safe from marauding lunatics carrying automatic weapons and vote these people out!
