Tom MacNeill: NRA not to blame

With total predictability, the liberal media have unleashed yet another barrage of anti-gun tirades in the aftermath of the Orlando shootings. It is with no surprise they continue their vindictive attack on the NRA as if it alone were responsible for this horrific act of targeted and hateful murder.

The media seem to perceive the NRA as an inanimate entity acting on its own behalf. But perhaps even more disturbing is the media’s utter failure and refusal to address this act for what it really was: an Islamic Muslim militant act of violent terrorism.

What the media continue to cowardly disregard is that the NRA is simply standing up for the convictions of its millions of supporters. Those convictions include the constitutional protection of all personal freedoms and liberties as well as individual rights and the other “R” word (which the liberal media never mention), responsibilities.

By continuing to not only condone but actually support the Obama administration’s positions, the media’s behavior is, at best, disgraceful and, at worst, anti-American. If American citizens allow political correctness to undermine the Second Amendment, then one can only ask, “Which one will be next?”
