Janet Gatzmer: Wind farms not eyesores

Regarding the June 24 news article “Wind farms are feeling blowback”: I’ve seen wind farms in Illinois and Minnesota, and they are beautiful as well as useful. They are relaxing to watch and are almost majestic in their appearance. They are a far cry from spinning wildly and chopping up birds.

They are scenic to behold in their own right with the added benefit of free energy after installation costs have been paid.
