Dan DiPerna: VPs would make better presidents

As I look at the Democratic and Republican tickets, a disturbing question comes up. What if we reversed the tickets?

Tim Kaine would be running for president against Mike Pence. Although these two men have very different philosophies and positions on key issues, I would be comfortable with either of them running the country.

Instead we are stuck with two deeply flawed candidates. Something is so wrong with the current system.
