Glenn Conway: McCrory’s blame game

Regarding the July 23 news article “NBA decision means HB2 likely to dominate governor’s race”: So, Gov. Pat McCrory thinks that the NBA’s decision to move the NBA All Star Game out of Charlotte is a bunch of “PC BS.”

If the situation was reversed, where the NBA conspicuously decided to bring the All-Star Game to North Carolina because of House Bill 2, then the governor and General Assembly would be crowing how great it is that corporate America recognizes the state contingent for exemplary laws. But since it went the other way, the governor claimed it is a bunch of PC BS, and that liberal elites are to blame for the move.

On the one hand, the governor and GA would take credit if it worked in their favor. On the other hand they attribute any downside to liberal elites (e.g. “The Other.”).

Boy, don’t you just love the hypocrisy and lack of accountability that is being demonstrated here? I want a governor with a brain, and a sense of accountability, please.
