Peggy Meares: Let administrators help clean schools

In response to July 28 news article “Proposed cleaning cuts draw health, workload concerns”: Why are the lowest paid people in the system taking the hit?

Let’s remove a few administrators from their bigger paying positions, and then we will have ample money to keep our schools clean. Or even better, let’s send a paper-pushing administrator into the schools and let them clean.

Our teachers are underpaid and overwhelmed. Housekeeping tasks should not be part of their day!
