Richard Burgess: Voting is protected in Constitution

Regarding the July 30 news article “Judges throw out N.C.’s voter ID law”: I agree with Gov. Pat McCrory that if I don’t have a photo ID then I cannot purchase Sudafed, cash a check, board an airplane or enter a federal court room. But even if I cannot do any of these things, I should still be able to vote.
