Nancy Goldstein: Restore oversight

After reading your Aug. 2 article “Voter ID bill court ruling could impact N.C. races,” I’m beginning to think that if the unconstitutional voter ID law, passed by our legislature and signed into law by our governor, doesn’t prove that North Carolina still needs federal oversight before being allowed to change voting rights laws, I don’t know what does. How sad.
