Stacie Hagwood: An unhappy choice

Regarding J. Peder Zane’s Aug. 17 column “How has Clinton lied to us? Let me count the ways”: Zane was absolutely right about Hillary Clinton and her lies and ascent to power. That’s the reason I have never liked or trusted her and swore I would never vote for her.

Never say never. I am faced with the gag-inducing realization that I have no choice but to go back on my assertion for the sole reason of keeping a dangerous narcissistic sociopath from winning. Why is this all we have to choose from?

The system is set up in such a way that the deep end of the “poles” between right and left bring the extreme choices to the table. It is time to do away with primaries set across five months and have all primaries on a single date and reverse “corporations are people, too” access to our politicians.

I imagine this is what a Roman must have felt like about 200 years in.
