Savion Jackson, the highly touted defensive end from Clayton High School, has decided when he'll announce his college decision, he posted on Twitter Wednesday.
Jackson, a 6-3, 260-pound four-star recruit in the Class of 2019, will announce his commitment on June 13 at 6 p.m. at Clayton High. He has N.C. State, South Carolina, UNC, Clemson and Virginia Tech on his list.

Jackson is the No. 2-ranked player in North Carolina, according to 247sports. He’s the No. 3 strong-side defensive end in the country, and the 45th best overall player. Jackson, who was at South Carolina last weekend for an official visit, is expected to head to the Gamecocks. The Gamecocks already have a verbal commitment from Anderson, S.C. defensive end Zacch Pickens, who is ranked as the No. 1 strong-side defensive end in the nation.
In 14 games last season for the Comets, Jackson finished with 56 tackles (37 solo) and eight sacks. He’s racked up 15.0 sacks in two seasons on the Clayton varsity football team. The Comets finished 13-1 last season, falling in the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs to Eastern Guilford.
