NC Central coach LeVelle Moton thinks he can beat NBA all-star Steph Curry at this sport
North Carolina Central men’s basketball coach LeVelle Moton has issued a challenge to one of the best shooters of all time.
Luckily for Moton, or maybe not, that challenge is on the green and not the hardwood. Moton posted a scorecard from a recent golf outing on his twitter account, challenging Golden State Warriors guard and Charlotte native Steph Curry, to a match.
Moton bragged about the 81 he shot on Sunday, calling out Curry, saying “I guess I got my Swagger back @StephenCurry. You see this 81 I shot today. Lemme know when u ready”
Curry responded to Moton’s challenge, tweeting “you know I’m ready whenever.”
Pinehurst Resort, located about an hour and a half south of Raleigh, got in on the action, tweeting to Moton and Curry that this needed to be settled and the duo could play on Pinehurst No. 2 once they settled on a day and time.
