The Starting 11: Week Five
Hamilton Moore, Enloe: The senior running back was a workhorse during a win over Sanderson last week. The Yale commit ran the ball 34 times for 368 yards and six touchdowns.
Trey Baker, Sanderson: Spartans’ quarterback was 21-32 passing for 321 yards and two touchdowns and finished with 401 yards of total offense.
Nick Frey, Cardinal Gibbons: Senior quarterback finished with 253 passing yards and three scores, while rushing for 48 yards and another score during a 26-24 win over Leesville Road.
Jacob Gill, Cardinal Gibbons: Sophomore wide receiver caught 11 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Jalen Brooks, Cardinal Gibbons: Senior defensive end finished with three sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Tre Freeman, Northern Durham: Freeman finished with two touchdowns -- one rushing, one receiving -- and rushed for 101 yards. He also had an interception in a win over Southern Durham.
Dorian Stone, Carrboro: Wide receiver finished with five catches for 117 yards and one touchdown.
Tyson Dew, Cleveland: Rams’ running back carried the ball eight times for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
Jalyn Emory, Clayton: Finished with six catches for 113 yards and two scores.
Marquel Haywood, Wake Forest: Cougars’ running back finished with 128 yards on just five carries and two scores.
Sean Horton, Middle Creek: Wide receiver finished with 10 catches for 98 yards.
