Durham Amateur golf tournament’s 50th edition accepting entrants

The Durham Amateur golf tournament reaches its 50th anniversary this year and the historic tournament will be held June 3-4 at Hillandale Golf Course.

Entries are currently being accepted for the 36-hole individual stroke play event, which will begin play at 9 a.m. each day.

Amateur golfers with a 10 handicap or lower are eligible to enter the field, which will be limited to 90 players.

The entry fee is $125, which includes one practice round at Hillandale any Monday-Friday during the two weeks leading up to the event. Entry deadline is May 26 at 6 p.m. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.

Players may request pairings for Saturday’s round.
