Ilona Maher Goes Viral After Interaction With Jaxson Dart at Giants Party

Ilona Maher isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her recent retelling of a Super Bowl party story is splitting the internet in half.

The Olympic medalist in rugby spoke about a recent party she attended on her “House of Maher” podcast alongside her sisters Olivia and Adrianna.

Maher opened up, saying that she went to a New York Giants party hosted by Cam Skattebo and then bumped into a blonde, “good-looking” player whose name she didn’t know.

The rugby star with over five million Instagram followers inquired who this guy was, probing what team he played for and what he was doing at the party.

It turned out that the tall, blonde guy she was talking to was, in fact, the starting quarterback of the New York Giants, Jaxson Dart.

“No idea,” Maher admitted, laughing about the situation. “He knew who I was. Keep them humble.”

While half of the viewers who watched the clip made light of the situation, thinking it was nothing to make a big deal about, the other half were not so amused.

Maher’s interaction with Dart wasn’t the only story to rile up the internet; her friend, whom she brought to the party, also got in on the awkward interactions.

Maher’s friend walked up to a player at the party and asked if they “knew ball,” unaware it was a former Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston.

“This is a party for the Giants, and we’re humbling these guys left and right,” Maher laughed.

Again, while some fans laughed, others were perplexed about “humbling” players at their own party.

Although no clear victor will emerge from the back-and-forth online, NFL players should be aware: if you see Ilona Maher at a party, don’t expect her to know who you are.
