Pat McAfee Follows Up Rough WrestleMania 42 Main Event With 50 Cent Concert

WWE's first night of WrestleMania 42 didn't feature many surprises,, and that included Pat McAfee getting involved in the main event match.

It featured Cody Rhodes putting the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton, who supposedly had McAfee in his corner. However, McAfee took a lot of damage when he showed up for that match, courtesy of multiple attacks from the two competitors and singer Jelly Roll.

However, he didn't seem to have suffered too much significant damage based on his post-WrestleMania activities. A video surfaced on X showing NBA star Tyrese Haliburton facing the camera and McAfee behind him to chant lyrics at a 50 Cent concert in Las Vegas.

Haliburton attended Mania and the cameras caught him early on in the crowd near San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. The two had a unique beer-chugging moment, which Kittle did most of the chugging during.

Funny enough, McAfee decided to continue wearing his referee shirt and the neck brace from WrestleMania 42. That may have been to continue selling the various attacks he took during the main event.

Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes on McAfee early, and moments later Jelly Roll emerged to deliver a huge elbow drop on McAfee through the commentators' table. With that, the WWE's medics checked on him and stretchered him backstage as McAfee held a thumbs up for the booing fans.

Later in the match, the referee got knocked out, which allowed a surprising McAfee to return to the ring wearing a neck brace and referee shirt. He tried a fast count for Orton’s pin on Rhodes to make him champion but Rhodes got his shoulder up before three.

McAfee’s night got worse when the guy he was there to support, Randy Orton, delivered the RKO on him to drop him to the mat fast. Rhodes went on to win the match when the referee regained consciousness, so he retained his championship.

However, Orton attacked Rhodes post-match, hitting him with the Undisputed WWE Championship belt, and then delivering a damaging punt kick to an already bloodied Rhodes.

Whether the various attacks on McAfee means he returns to the ring for any matches remains to be seen. He previously fooled WWE fans by indicating he was done with his involvement there, but has since returned.

McAfee isn’t expected to be part of Sunday’s second night of WrestleMania 42 matches, but one never knows. Most likely, he’ll show up on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday, continuing to wear that neck brace and sell the multiple attacks he took at Mania.
