Noah Lyles Accused Of 'Horrible' Reaction To Wife's Wedding Dress

Noah Lyles and his wife, Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield, released a behind-the-scenes look at their wedding day on social media.

A clip has gone viral showing Lyles' "first look" at his wife's wedding dress. The "first look" has become quite common in 21st century weddings. They feature the bride and groom sharing a special, private moment before the ceremony, in which the wedding dress is revealed.

Lyles, though, has been called out for having a "horrible" reaction to his wife's wedding dress in the first look.

In the clip, Lyles was surprised by his wife's choice.

"Oh wow, okay," the 2024 Summer Olympics gold medalist said, before adding, "I didn't think you would go with a princess dress. Yeah, this is good."

Fans accused him of being too low-key with the reaction, though.

"This reaction was horrible," one critic said.

"He didn't even compliment her ONCE," one fan added.

"I'm genuinely mad over this sorry," one fan added.

"Next time just put music over it it's okay," one fan added.

Lyles' wife is defending him, though

The Jamaican sprinter has taken to social media to defend her husband for his reaction to her dress.

She revealed that the day had already been a lot emotionally, as some family members and friends were unable to make it.

"That reaction that I got from Noah is exactly what I needed because he tried to make me happy. He tried to make me talk because if he did not do that, I would probably be shut off that whole wedding because I was processing so much disappointment mentally and emotionally. So what he gave, I truly appreciate," she said.
