Final Injury Report for 76ers-Celtics Game 2: Will Joel Embiid, Ron Harper Jr. Play?

The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Philadelphia enters Tuesday's game trailing 0-1 in the series after losing on the road to Boston in Game 1 on Sunday afternoon.

In Sunday's loss to the Celtics, Tyrese Maxey led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 21 points and eight assists while Paul George added 17 points and four rebounds of his own.

Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back in Game 2 on the road on Tuesday as they try to tie the series at 1-1 before heading back home for Game 3.

On the other side, Boston enters Tuesday's contest with a 1-0 series lead after picking up a dominant victory over the 76ers in Game 1 at home on Sunday afternoon.

Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics in Sunday's victory as he ended the game with 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists while Jaylen Brown recorded 26 points, four rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 2 on Tuesday night, both squads may be without one of their key players due to injury.

76ers Injury Report: Will Joel Embiid Play?

For the 76ers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out star center Joel Embiid.

Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid due to post appendectomy surgery recovery tat has kept him out since April 9, though he did begin a strength and conditioning program on Monday.

With Embiid still sidelined, Adem Bona and Andre Drummond will likely both continue to have increased roles until the star center is cleared to return.

Celtics Injury Report: Will Ron Harper Jr. Play?

On the other side, the Celtics have only one player listed on their injury report as well as they have listed Ron Harper Jr. as probable.

Boston has listed Harper Jr. as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with a right ankle sprain.
