Messi played the full match against the Colorado Rapids over the weekend, where Inter Miami defeated them 3-2 away from home.

Lionel Messi is expected to start and play for Inter Miami tonight against Real Salt Lake in the MLS.

Messi is not injured and traveled with the rest of the team to Utah for the match tonight. The Inter Miami team did not travel back to Florida ahead of the match against Real Salt Lake and is traveling from Colorado.

This will be Messi's second game under interim manager Guillermo Hoyos, who is expected to remain the head coach for the next few months while the club looks for a permanent replacement for Javier Mascherano.
