Vonn opens up about her mental health battles

In an interview with PEOPLE, Vonn described her emotional state as "up and dow."

"I'd say in the last month, it's definitely gotten better, but of course there were really low moments," she said.

Vonn said it's been tough having to rely on everyone else for help, as she recovers from her injury.

"It was quite a challenge, just being in the hospital alone for two and a half weeks," she continued.

"Being completely immobile for that extended time period was so rough."

Hopefully, Vonn will make a full recovery and get back on the mountain soon.
