Here's How Much WR Zay Flowers' Fifth-Year Option is Costing the Ravens

When the Baltimore Ravens drafted wide receiver Zay Flowers 22nd overall in the 2023 NFL draft, the team had high expectations for him.

Three years, two Pro Bowls, and two 1,000-yard seasons later, it's safe to say they've got their money's worth so far.

Flowers has led the Ravens in receiving each of his three years with the team, and as he heads into his fourth pro season, the team had a big decision to make regarding his contract.

As a former first-round pick, Flowers carries a fifth-year option, and on Thursday hours before the 2026 draft, the Ravens picked it up, meaning Flowers will be sticking around for at least two more season.

But how much money is Baltimore now on the hook for in 2027?

"Sources: The #Ravens are picking up the 5th year option on WR Zay Flowers," NFL insider Jordan Schultz wrote on X. "He will earn $28M in 2027 since he has made two Pro Bowls."

The Ravens have just one more season of Flowers on a cheap contract that's one of the biggest bargains in the NFL. Flowers will have a $2.66 million base salary and a $4.46 million cap hit next season before he makes the massive $20-plus million jump in salary.

Since his rookie year in 2023, Flowers ranks 11th in the NFL in receiving yards (3,128) and 14th in receptions (237).
